These checkpoints are covered daily in each department for every magazine. For example, before documents make their way from our clerical processing unit to the data entry unit, they are reviewed for accuracy. As our data entry operators key, the programmed edits for a given publication assure that a document has been both processed and keyed correctly. Our response time to errors occurs immediately. The last step before an update is a thorough edit check to review all transactions for correct pricing, terms, audited areas and any special processing requirements.
